Every country it seems has there own local currency, and there are hundreds of them. This creates the need for foreign exchange (forex) mechanics to be able to acquire currencies of various countries to complete trade or financial transactions. It goes without saying that there are the major players that make up the G8 that are driving this bus. Taking the lead is Europe with the euro, but discussions are underway in North America as well, with Canada, the United States, and Mexico talking about creating one currency for North America. On a global scale some have put forth the notion that China’s yuan should become the currency of default for global transactions.
